Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 28

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.41 lakh crore or USD 5.25 trillion as of October 28, 2024.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.76 per cent at 80,005 and the Nifty-50 up 0.65 per cent at 24,339. About 2,579 shares have advanced, 1,412 shares have declined and 162 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.69 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.11 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Yes Bank, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd and Indian Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Orient Electric Ltd, Arvind Ltd and Syrma SGS Technology Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Commodities Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Services Index and BSE Energy Index were the Top Losers.
