Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 21

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 1.63 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 1.51 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.09 per cent at 81,151 and the Nifty-50 down 0.29 per cent at 24,781. About 1,127 shares have advanced, 2,909 shares have declined and 139 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.63 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.51 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, Crisil Ltd and Oberoi Realty Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Vardhman Holdings Ltd, Amber Enterprises India Ltd and Pilani Investment and Industries Corporation Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the majority of indices were trading in red with the BSE Auto Index being the only gainer while the BSE Oil & Gas Technology Index and BSE Services Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.53 lakh crore or USD 5.39 trillion as of October 21, 2024. On the same day, 254 stocks hit a 52-week high while 71 stocks touched a 52-week low.
