Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 15
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.25 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 1.05 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.19 per cent at 81,820 and the Nifty-50 down 0.28 per cent at 25,057. About 2,068 shares have advanced, 1,890 shares have declined and 106 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.25 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.05 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are 63 Moons Technologies Ltd, Angel One Ltd and Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Realty Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Auto Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.64 lakh crore or USD 5.52 trillion as of October 15, 2024. On the same day, 258 stocks hit a 52-week high while 35 stocks touched a 52-week low.
