Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 11
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.44 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.44 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.28 per cent at 81,381 and the Nifty-50 down 0.14 per cent at 24,964. About 2,142 shares have advanced, 1,746 shares have declined and 123 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.44 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.44 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Bandhan Bank Ltd, Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd and Crisil Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd, Neuland Laboratories Ltd and Usha Martin Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Healthcare Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.62 lakh crore or USD 5.50 trillion as of October 11, 2024. On the same day, 222 stocks hit a 52-week high while 26 stocks touched a 52-week low.
