Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 01

The broader markets were in green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.27 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.57 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Monday with the Sensex down 0.04 per cent at 84,266 and the Nifty-50 down 0.05 per cent at 25,797. About 2,297 shares have advanced, 1,664 shares have declined and 93 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.27 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.57 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were One 97 Communications Ltd (Paytm), PB Fintech Ltd and Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Hercules Hoists Ltd,  Renaissance Global Ltd and DCW Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Services Index and BSE Information Technology Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.75 lakh crore or USD 5.67 trillion as of October 01, 2024. On the same day, 240 stocks hit a 52-week high while 37 stocks touched a 52-week low.
