Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on May 24

The broader markets were mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.23 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.20 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in red on Friday with the Sensex down 0.01 per cent at 75,410, and the Nifty-50 down 0.05 per cent at 22,957. About 1,689 shares have advanced, 2,159 have declined and 97 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 75,636.5 on May 24, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 23,026.40 on May 24, 2024.

The broader markets were mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.23 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.20 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Vofadone Idea Ltd, Bharat Forge Ltd and Power Finance Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Inox Wind Ltd, Aegis Logistics Ltd and Bharat Dynamics Ltd

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Telecommunication Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Services Index and BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 420 lakh crore or USD 5.05 trillion as of May 24, 2024. On the same day, 215 stocks hit a 52-week high while 33 stocks touched a 52-week low.
