Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 18
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.99 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 1.15 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Thursday with the Sensex up 0.78 per cent at 81,343, and the Nifty-50 up 0.76 per cent at 24,801. About 1,426 shares have advanced, 2,497 have declined and 93 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 81,523 on July 18, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,838 on July 18, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.99 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.15 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were IDBI Bank, Endurance Technologies Ltd and Gillette India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Just Dial Ltd, Lancer Container Lines Ltd and Roto Pumps Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Teck Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Industrials Index and BSE Capital Goods Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.54 lakh crore or USD 5.43 trillion as of July 18, 2024. On the same day, 239 stocks hit a 52-week high while 25 stocks touched a 52-week low.
