Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on February 09
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies is approx. Rs 386 lakh crore or USD 4.71 trillion as of February 09, 2024.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading negative on Friday with the Sensex up 0.23 per cent at 71,595.45 and the Nifty-50 up 0.30 per cent at 21,782.50. About 1,316 shares have advanced, 2,518 have declined and 98 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 73,427.59 on January 16, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,126.80 on February 02, 2024.
The broader markets were in negative territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.82 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.36 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, Vodafone Idea Ltd and Yes Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Apollo Pipes Ltd, Olectra Greentech Ltd and Welspun Living Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Bankex Index and BSE Financial Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Metals Index were the Top Losers.
The market capitalization of BSE-listed companies is approx. Rs 386 lakh crore or USD 4.71 trillion as of February 09, 2024. On the same day, 357 stocks hit a 52-week high while 98 stocks touched a 52-week low.
