About 1,588 shares have advanced, 1,902 declined and 132 are unchanged on BSE.
Top Gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows-
The top Sensex gainers were Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd and Bajaj Finance whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Steel, ITC Ltd and Tech Mahindra.
The broader market indices were trading lower, with the BSE Midcap Index down 1.28 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.28 per cent, respectively.
Trending stocks on BSE were Adani Enterprise, CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd, Blue Star Ltd, Varun Beverages Ltd, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd, Triveni Turbine Ltd and Eureka Forbes Ltd.
