Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on December 26

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.11 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.24 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in mixed on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.01 per cent at 78,472 and the Nifty-50 up 0.10 per cent at 23,750. About 1,639 shares have advanced, 2,329 shares have declined and 106 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.11 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.24 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were The New India Assurance Company Ltd, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd and CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Saurashtra Cement Ltd, Intellect Design Arena Ltd and TAJGVK Hotels & Resorts Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Services Index and BSE Auto Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.

As of December 26, 2024, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.42 lakh crore or USD 5.18 trillion. On the same day, 155 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 80 stocks touched a 52-week low.
