Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on August 23
The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.66 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.15 per cent.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.04 per cent at 81,086, and the Nifty-50 up 0.05 per cent at 24,823. About 2,063 shares have advanced, 1,877 shares have declined and 108 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,129.49 on August 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,078.30 on August 01, 2024.
The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.66 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.15 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Technologies Ltd, Solar Industries India Ltd and TVS Motor Company Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Quint Digital Ltd, Balu Forge Industries Ltd and SEPC Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Auto Index and BSE Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Information Technology Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.60 lakh crore or USD 5.49 trillion as of August 23, 2024. On the same day, 333 stocks hit a 52-week high while 19 stocks touched a 52-week low.
