Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on August 14

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.04 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 0.51 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.87 per cent at 79,956, and the Nifty-50 down 0.85 per cent at 24,139. About 1,498 shares have advanced, 2,425 shares have declined and 113 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,129.49 on August 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,078.30 on August 01, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.04 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.51 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, Vodafone Idea Ltd and Solar Industries Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Pokarna Ltd, Kitex Garments Ltd and Everest Kanto Cylinder Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Information Technology and BSE Teck Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Commodities Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.44 lakh crore or USD 5.29 trillion as of August 14, 2024. On the same day, 241 stocks hit a 52-week high while 38 stocks touched a 52-week low.
