Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.65 per cent at 80,116 and the Nifty-50 up 0.67 per cent at 24,329. About 2,078 shares have advanced, 1,873 shares have declined and 155 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.94 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.26 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Inventurus Knowledge Solutions Ltd, Coforge Ltd and Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Vardhman Special Steels Ltd, NIIT Ltd and Aptech Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE IT Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Bankex Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the Top Losers.

As of April 23, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.30 lakh crore or USD 5.04 trillion. On the same day, 81 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 25 stocks touched a 52-week low.
