Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of April 09, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.94 lakh crore or USD 4.55 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.51 per cent at 73,847 and the Nifty-50 down 0.61 per cent at 22,399. About 1,529 shares have advanced, 2,359 shares have declined and 142 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.73 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.08 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, PB Fintech Ltd and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Emami Ltd and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Jyothy Labs Ltd, Mastek Ltd and Rossari Biotech Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of April 09, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.94 lakh crore or USD 4.55 trillion. On the same day, 57 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 78 stocks touched a 52-week low.
