Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today
As of April 01, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.09 lakh crore or USD 4.78 trillion.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 1.80 per cent at 77,025 and the Nifty-50 down 1.50 per cent at 23,166. About 2,708 shares have advanced, 1,344 shares have declined and 143 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 1.04 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.07 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Whirlpool of India Ltd, Clean Science and Technology Ltd and IDFC First Bank Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd, Atul Auto Ltd and Ganesh Benzoplast Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index being the only top gainer while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index were the Top Losers.
As of April 01, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.09 lakh crore or USD 4.78 trillion. On the same day, 76 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 196 stocks touched a 52-week low.
