Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.10 per cent at 74,030 and the Nifty-50 down 0.12 per cent at 22,471.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.10 per cent at 74,030 and the Nifty-50 down 0.12 per cent at 22,471. About 1,495 shares have advanced, 2,489 shares have declined and 138 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.57 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.48 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd, Aditya Birla Capital Ltd and Bharat Forge Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Carysil Ltd, India Tourism Development Corporation Ltd and NACL Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Services Index and BSE Auto Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of March 12, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.93 lakh crore or USD 4.50 trillion. On the same day, 63 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 274 stocks touched a 52-week low.
