Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.87 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.01 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.27 per cent at 78,058 and the Nifty-50 down 0.39 per cent at 23,603. About 1,913 shares have advanced, 2,025 shares have declined and 125 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.87 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.01 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd and Torrent Power Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Vimta Labs Ltd, VRL Logistics Ltd and Fusion Finance Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 06, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.25 lakh crore or USD 4.85 trillion. On the same day, 69 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 67 stocks touched a 52-week low.
