Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.96 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 1.17 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.68 per cent at 77,620 and the Nifty-50 down 0.69 per cent at 23,527. About 1,225 shares have advanced, 2,732 shares have declined and 110 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.96 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.17 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Aarti Industries Ltd, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Kamdhenu Ltd, Yuken India Ltd and Navin Fluorine International Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods Index was the only Top Gainers while the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 09, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.36 lakh crore or USD 5.07 trillion. On the same day, 131 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 123 stocks touched a 52-week low.
