Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.77 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 1.74 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.30 per cent at 78,199 and the Nifty-50 up 0.39 per cent at 23,708. About 2,625 shares have advanced, 1,354 shares have declined and 107 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.77 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.74 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Biocon Ltd, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd and UPL Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Equinox India Developments Ltd, Spandana Sphoorty Financial Ltd and Goldiam International Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Energy Index and BSE Industrials Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Teck IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 07, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.42 lakh crore or USD 5.15 trillion. On the same day, 131 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 101 stocks touched a 52-week low.
