Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.47 per cent at 78,507 and the Nifty-50 up 0.41 per cent at 23,743. About 2,741 shares have advanced, 1,241 shares have declined and 89 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The top mid-cap gainers were Clean Science and Technology Ltd, Adani Wilmar Ltd and SJVN Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are TAJGVK Hotels & Resorts Ltd, Tanla Platforms Ltd and Authum Investment & Infrastructure Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Industrials Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.
As of January 01, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.44 lakh crore or USD 5.19 trillion. On the same day, 153 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 37 stocks touched a 52-week low.
