Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

As of March 19, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.05 lakh crore or USD 4.68 trillion.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.20 per cent at 75,449 and the Nifty-50 up 0.32 per cent at 22,908. About 3,018 shares have advanced, 1,033 shares have declined and 115 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 2.28 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 2.17 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, Suzlon Energy Ltd and Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd, HBL Engineering Ltd and Balu Forge Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Realty Index and BSE Industrials Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of March 19, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.05 lakh crore or USD 4.68 trillion. On the same day, 81 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 154 stocks touched a 52-week low.
