Rs 34,152 crore order book: Shapoorji Pallonji Group’s civil construction company bags order worth Rs 1,283 crore from DP World
The company has a market cap of over Rs 16,000 crore and as of September 30, 2024, the order book stands at Rs 34,152 crore.
Afcons Infrastructure Ltd has been awarded a contract by Hindustan Gateway Container Terminal Kandla Private Limited, a subsidiary of DP World. The project involves the design and construction of the marine package for a new container terminal at Tuna Tekra, India. The contract is valued at Rs 1,283 crore, excluding GST, and is expected to be completed within 29 months.
Earlier, the company emerged as the lower bidder (L1) for the construction of two crucial packages (E5 & E7) of the Access Controlled Pune Ring Road (East), as announced in a regulatory filing. The project, awarded by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd. (MSRDC), involves an EPC contract valued at Rs 4,787.20 crore (excluding GST). Both packages are slated for completion within 36 months.
