Rs 23,877 Crore Order Book: Defence Shipbuilding Company Turnover Touches New High; Records 32 Per Cent YoY Growth in FY25

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) achieved a record-breaking Annual Turnover of Rs 4,750 crore in FY 2024-25. The company also declared an Interim dividend of 89.5 per cent of paid-up share capital, surpassing the previous year's 79 per cent. This financial success highlights GRSE's strong performance and operational excellence.
FY 2024-25 was marked by significant milestones, including the commissioning of the 2nd Survey Vessel (Large), INS Nirdeshak, the 110th warship delivered to the Indian Navy. GRSE also delivered the Next Generation Electric Ferry ‘Dheu’ and an Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) ‘Jaldoot’. Further strengthening its project portfolio, GRSE secured a Rs 490 crore contract with NPOL for an Acoustic Research Ship (ARS), an Rs 840 crore contract with NCPOR for an Ocean Research Vessel, and a contract for 13 Hybrid Ferries with the Government of West Bengal. Additionally, an international order for eight multi-purpose cargo vessels, valued at approximately 108 million USD, was secured from a German company. GRSE also signed MoUs for 130-foot Single Lane Modular Bridges, Modular Steel Bridges, and Double Lane Modular Bridges.
GRSE launched the second edition of "GRSE Accelerated Innovation Nurturing Scheme (GAINS) - 2024" to support Indian startups. The company received 24 prestigious awards across various domains, including Artificial Intelligence, technology, CSR, corporate governance, communication outreach, and operational performance.
