K Narsimha Reddy, the largest individual promoter of KNR Constructions, a Hyderabad-based infrastructure project development company established in 1995, has recently been active in the stock market.
On Wednesday, he sold 4,35,074 shares of the company. This follows a substantial sale last week on June 19, 2024, when he disposed of 53,00,000 shares. In the same period, Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Limited A/C Classic Opportunities Fund purchased 14,46,823 shares, while Canara Robeco Mutual Fund bought 17,89,945 shares, both at Rs 350 each.
The services provided by KNR Constructions encompass a diverse range of infrastructure projects. They specialize in the construction of roads, highways, bridges, and flyovers, employing various models such as Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT), and Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). Additionally, the company undertakes projects in irrigation, urban water infrastructure management, and agriculture, demonstrating its broad expertise across multiple sectors of infrastructure development.
On Wednesday, this Small-Cap construction company’s stock closed the day at Rs 349.85 per share on the BSE representing a gain of around 1.49 per cent. The current market capitalization of the company stands at Rs 9838.99. Additionally, the stock has delivered a return of around 47 per cent in the past year.
As per the Quarterly Results, in the fourth quarter of FY24, KNR Constructions recorded a revenue of Rs 1414 crore. The operating profit for Q4 FY24 stood at Rs 375 crore. The net profit for Q4 FY24 was Rs 341 crore. Looking at the annual performance, the company generated a revenue of Rs 4429 crore in FY24, compared to Rs 4062 crore in FY23. The operating profit for FY24 was Rs 752 crore, with a net profit of Rs 439 crore.
