Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus tomorrow
DB Realty, Deep Industries, Gravita India, Jindal Worldwide, Lakshmi Machine Works, TV Electronics and SEL Manufacturing Company made a fresh 52-week high today.
On Wednesday, Indian equity markets closed in the green territory with healthy gains, building on yesterday’s upward momentum. Benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex rose 1.14 per cent each, ending the session at 17,463.80 and 58,564.97, respectively. BSE Small-cap index closed the session at 29,233.31, up by 165.28 points i.e. 0.57 per cent.

D B Realty – The Board of the company at its meeting held today approved allotment of a further 5 crore warrants convertible into equivalent numbers of equity shares to non-promoter investors, subject to approval of the shareholders of DB Realty Limited and regulatory authorities. These non-promoter investors include Rekha Jhunjhunwala, M/s RARE Investments, Lotus Family Trust, M/s KIFS Dealers, Abhay Chandak and Aditya Chandak.
This is in addition to 7.7 crore warrants to be issued to the promoter group and Pinnacle Investments. The funds raised through the warrants shall be utilised primarily to repay debt and augment the long term capital requirement of the company.
Cineline India - The company has acquired 27 additional screens on a lease basis of which 9 are in Uttar Pradesh, 6 in Rajasthan, 5 in Noida, 5 in Gujarat and 2 in Maharashtra. These theatres will have an aggregate seating capacity of more than 5,500 seats.
