The Indian benchmark indices started the session marginally higher, following the optimistic cues and upward trend in the global markets. The session's top gaining sectors were BSE Oil & Gas, BSE Bankex and BSE Metals, while capital goods and consumer durables stocks lagged. The BSE Sensex edged up by 0.15 per cent to 61,510 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index added 0.13 per cent to a level of 18,267.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services - Quiklyz, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services that specializes in leasing and subscriptions for vehicles, recently signed MOUs for the leasing of over 1,000 electric 3-wheelers with a number of key Last Mile Mobility players. This news assisted the company's shares to end the day 1.30 per cent higher. In order to create more EV leasing opportunities, Quiklyz intends to deliver these leased vehicles over the course of the next six months.
Siemens Ltd - Shares of Siemens Ltd fell sharply at opening but managed to recover, ending the session down 1.51 per cent. The manufacturer of heavy electrical equipment has reported strong, dividend-paying quarterly performance. The company's board of directors recommended a 500 per cent dividend or Rs 10 per equity share worth Rs 2 each.
Tata Consultancy Services - The company today announced that it will extend its sponsorship of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) Corporate Challenge for four more years, until 2026, marking its four-year partnership as the official mobile app partner. This significant collaboration will definitely help the organization in the long run.
