Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Thursday’s trading session!
Gains in the capital goods, metals and consumer durables sectors helped Indian benchmark indices start the session on a brighter note. Then, the indices reversed their earlier gains and fell sharply, mainly as a result of significant losses in the banking and telecommunication sectors. The BSE Sensex fell 0.59 per cent to 57,555 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index lost 0.42 per cent to a level of 16,972.

Asian Paints - Shares of Asian Paints, the top Sensex gainer, soared more than 3 per cent, supporting the BSE Sensex in a weak market. Shares have fallen more than 15 per cent in last six months and are now trading well below their 52-week high.
TVS Motor Company - The company reported that the allotment of 12,500 listed, rated, unsecured, redeemable, floating rate, non-convertible debentures with a face value of Rs 1 lakh each, amounting to Rs 125 crore, had been approved by the board of directors. Shares ended the session over 1 per cent lower.
Bharti Airtel - Shares of the telecom company tumbled 2 per cent, making them the top Sensex loser and reflecting the sector's weakness. The sectoral index BSE Telecommunication experienced the worst performance of the session, falling 1.20 per cent.
