Indian domestic indices ended the session significantly lower, mirroring the weakness in global indices. BSE Realty surprised investors with more than 2 per cent gains in an otherwise weak market, while information technology, banks and auto stocks took the brunt of the damage. The BSE Sensex tumbled 0.84 per cent to 58,909 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index declined 0.74 per cent to a level of 17,321.

Maruti Suzuki - Being the worst performer on the BSE Sensex, shares of the company tumbled more than 2 per cent. Despite the fact that the shortage of electronic components had a minor impact on the production of vehicles, mostly domestic models, the company reported that it had sold a total of 1,72,321 units in February 2023.
Bharti Airtel - The company announced that it has reached 1 million unique 5G users on its network in Mumbai and that Airtel was the first to roll out 5G in the country, with Mumbai being one of the first eight cities to receive ultrafast Airtel 5G Plus. Shares ended the session more than 1 per cent lower.
Adani Transmission - With a surge in volume, shares of the company soared and locked at the 5 per cent upper circuit, leading the gains in the BSE Largecap pack. Shares of Adani Wilmar and Adani Green Energy both climbed 5 per cent.
