The BSE Consumer Durables sector was the only one that experienced losses today; however, the strong rally in technology and power stocks contributed to boost Indian benchmark indices amid optimistic global sentiments. The BSE Sensex soared 1.41 per cent to 60,747 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index surged 1.35 per cent to a level of 18,101.

The Thar delivers on the promise of ‘Explore the Impossible’ with a remarkably distinctive driving and ownership experience. The company's shares surged and it was the top Sensex gainer for the session, closing 3.59 per cent higher.
Titan Company Ltd - A vibrant festive season and strong customer demand led to a 12 per cent rise in combined sales year on year across the company's standalone businesses. All categories experienced healthy double-digit growths owing to cheerful consumer sentiment. Despite such a strong performance, the stock had losses of more than 2 per cent today, making it the worst-performing company on the BSE Sensex.
TVS Motor Company - Today, the company announced the launch of the TVS Metro Plus 110 refresh in Bangladesh. The motorcycle has upgraded features that have been identified as customer needs in this segment. Shares finished the session slightly lower.
