Online Gaming Company’s Shares Fall 5 Per Cent Despite YoY PAT Growth; Revenue Declines
While the company posted a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 3.6 per cent in net profit (PAT) at Rs 35.7 crore, up from Rs 34.5 crore in the same quarter of the previous year, revenue from operations fell by 7.5 per cent YoY to Rs 194.33 crore from Rs 210.13 crore.
Delta Corp ltd, a player in the gaming and hospitality sector, reported mixed financial results for Q3 FY25. While the company posted a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 3.6 per cent in net profit (PAT) at Rs 35.7 crore, up from Rs 34.5 crore in the same quarter of the previous year, revenue from operations fell by 7.5 per cent YoY to Rs 194.33 crore from Rs 210.13 crore, leading to the fall in the stock price. In early trade on Tuesday, Delta Corp’s shares tumbled 5 per cent to Rs 104.72 on the NSE.
Sequentially, net profit jumped 32.4 per cent from Rs 26.98 crore in Q2 FY25.
Financial Performance
The company’s operating earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) declined sharply by 42.4 per cent to Rs 32.1 crore in Q3 FY25, down from Rs 55.8 crore in Q3 FY24. Delta Corp also saw a contraction in its EBITDA margin, which shrank by 10.1 percentage points to 16.5 per cent in Q3 FY25, compared to 26.6 per cent in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company’s market capitalization currently stands at Rs 2,878.2 crore. Over the past six months, Delta Corp shares have declined 21 per cent, and the stock has lost 62 per cent of its value over the past three years.
