Shares of Indraprastha Gas Ltd, Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd and Sandur Manganese Iron Ores Ltd have rallied in today’s trading session.
While markets opened marginally higher, as of noon, Sensex declined by 0.88 per cent.
Indraprastha Gas Ltd gained more than 9 per cent
Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) is in the business of city gas distribution in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The share price of the company has jumped 9.23 per cent in the first half of today's trading session after the announcement of a hike in prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) in the Delhi-NCR region. The prices have been hiked by 50 paise per kilo in Delhi while Rs 1 per kilo in the NCR region, as per reports. The stock hit a high price of Rs 376.40 and a low of Rs 343.65 during the session.
Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd jumps more than 6 per cent
Ramkrishna Forgings is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and sale of forged components of automobiles, railways, wagons and engineering parts. The share price of the company has rallied 6.47 per cent in the first half of today's trading session after the announcement of the partnership with an American axle manufacturer for the light vehicle (LV) segment for an estimated business of Rs 70 crore over five years.
Sandur Manganese Iron Ores Ltd ascends more than 6 per cent
Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores (SMIORE) is involved in the mining of low phosphorous manganese and iron ore. The company has got upward momentum in the first half of today's trading session as iron ore prices jump on Monday amid supply concerns to China. The stock has been in an uptrend for the past one week, increasing more than 15 per cent from Rs 2,724.25 on February 8, 2021, to Rs 3,149.15 on March 8, 2022.
