Investors were drawn to these stocks with increased trading volumes in a recovery market moves; do you own them?

India’s equity benchmark indices opened flat on Wednesday, as gains in Reliance Industries and Bharti Airtel, following their agreements with Elon Musk’s SpaceX to introduce Starlink internet services in India, balanced the decline in IT stocks.

At 10:00 AM, Sensex was down 62 points, or 0.08 per cent, at the 74,165 level, while Nifty jumped by 29 points, 0.13 per cent at 22,476. On the broader level, Nifty Mid-Cap dropped by 0.27 per cent, while Nifty Small-Cap surged by 0.29 per cent.

KRBL Limited is currently witnessing a substantial surge in trading volume, recording 6.16 lakh shares traded compared to its two-week average of 1.01 lakh shares. This marks a 6.08 times increase in volume. The stock is trading at Rs 169.80, experiencing a sharp decline of Rs 42.40, which translates to a drop of 19.98 per cent. Axis Bank Limited has seen a trading volume of 3.37 lakh shares today, significantly higher than its two-week average of 0.75 lakh shares, indicating a 4.48 times rise in volume. The stock is currently trading at Rs 1010.15, down by Rs 15.40, reflecting a decline of 1.50 per cent. The total turnover for the stock stands at Rs 34.15 crore. Despite the higher trading volume, the negative price movement suggests possible profit-booking or market correction.
