From single to three digits and proposal to consider bonus shares: Brightcoms journey is no less than a fairy tale!

Fairy tales have been a part & parcel of everyone’s childhood. From giving us a good night’s sleep to encouraging us to face adversity with courage, these fairy tale writers of Cinderella to Snow White, have shaped our lives in the most imaginative and creative way. Sad enough, as we grow up, we believe that those fairy tales do not take place in real life but were just mere imaginations of creative writers.

However, what happened on D-Street recently would make you believe in fairy tales all over again! This rags-to-riches story of a penny stock seems to come straight from a fairy tale world to real life. Can you believe a stock that was trading in single-digit some nine months back is now trading in triple digits?! Hard to believe but it is true!

It’s none other than the stock of Brightcom Group, which has delivered a mouth-watering return of 2,674 per cent in just one year! Meanwhile, in the last three years, it has delivered a breathtaking return of over 7,200 per cent.

If the above-mentioned returns are not enough to excite you, the stock had come out with an announcement that on January 25, 2022, the company will hold a board meeting to consider the proposal of declaring bonus shares for the benefit of the shareholders; isn’t this like a cherry on the top?

Furthermore, the company added, “The singular focus has been on rewarding small investors. These investors, now numbering over two lakh, have been extremely patient, very loyal to Brightcom's vision, through thick and thin. We, at Brightcom Group, firmly believe that it is time to reward our supporters by issuing bonus shares. Brightcom has an extremely comfortable reserve position of Rs 3,655 crore on a capital of Rs 208 crore. This aspect gives us adequate room to capitalise reserves and distribute a part of those reserves as a bonus share issue.”
