From Rs 3.15 to Rs 65.40: This company's shares have surged by more than 1900 per cent in just one year!

An investment of Rs 1 lakh made in this stock a year ago would now be worth over Rs 19 lakh.

In 2022 so far, the equity markets are looking like a roller coaster ride due to global conditions. Indian benchmark indices have hardly gained 4-5 per cent so far this year, however there are some stocks which have given tremendous returns in the past year and minted money for investors.  

Shares of Welterman International Ltd, made a new all-time high of Rs 65.40 after locking in 5 per cent upper circuit. By hitting back-to-back upper circuits for months, the stock has soared more than 1900 per cent in just one year, implying that an investment of Rs 1 lakh made in this stock a year ago would now be worth over Rs 19 lakh! It has gained over 880 per cent in the last six months while its shareholders enjoyed returns of 162 per cent in just one month!        

Welterman International Ltd was founded in 1992 and is in the business of manufacturing leather goods and fertilizers. It has a capacity of manufacturing 18 lakh soles per annum. It has partnered with an Italy based company to make manufacturing most efficient and effective.  

Promoters hold 45.33 per cent in the company, whereas DIIs own 1.35 per cent.
