On Monday, Indian equity markets slipped into the red territory on account weak global cues and aggravating geo-political tensions between Russia and Ukraine. At 10 AM, headline benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex are trading at 17,147.70 and 57,440.75 respectively, down by 0.74 per cent and 0.64 per cent. On similar lines, BSE Small-cap index plunged 1.78 per cent during early market hours and is trading at 27,250 levels.

Strides Pharma Science – The company has recently announced that its step-down wholly-owned subsidiary, Strides Pharma Global Pte. Limited, Singapore, has received approval for Amantadine Hydrochloride Softgel Capsules USP, 100 mg from the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA). According to IQVIA MAT December 2021 data, the US market for Amantadine Hydrochloride Capsules USP, 100 mg is approximately USD 11 Million. The product will be manufactured at the company’s facility in Bengaluru and will be marketed by Strides Pharma Inc. in the US market.
Snowman Logistics - The company has informed the exchange that it has completed the construction of a temperature-controlled warehouse at Coimbatore and the facility has become operational during February 2022. The total capacity of the facility is 4,020 pallets. The company has also started its SnowServe facility - a fulfilment centre for Amazon India in Pune. Amazon will be using this facility for the delivery of FMCG perishables including vegetables, fruits, eggs, frozen food, and groceries in the city.
Hinduja Global Solutions – The company has announced that its subsidiary HGS UK Limited has been selected by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) to provide critical customer support to UK citizens for an initial period of two years, with an option to extend further. The partnership is already underway having launched earlier last week, and the contract could be worth up to Rs 2,100 crore.
