Days Movers: These stocks were among the top gainers on January 04

Here are the top gaining stocks in BSE Group ‘A’.

On Wednesday, the frontline equity indices declined after gaining the third day in a row. The 30 share index, Sensex declined 1.04 per cent or 636.75 points and closed at 60,657.45 while the 50 share index, Nifty closed at 18,042.95 and fell by 1.04 per cent. However, some of the shares that gained a lot in today's trade out of BSE Group 'A' were Prism Johnson Ltd, Jindal Worldwide Ltd and Surya Roshni Ltd.       

Shares of Prism Johnson Ltd zoomed 7.37 per cent in today’s session and closed at Rs 110.70 over its previous close of 103.10. Today, the intraday high and low of Prism Johnson Ltd were Rs 112.65 and Rs 102.25, respectively.         

Another constituent of BSE ‘A’ Group that rallied was Jindal Worldwide Ltd, gaining 6.52 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 464.70. Today, the stock touched its 52-week high and had an intraday high and low of Rs 477.00 and Rs 437.00, respectively.         

Surya Roshni Ltd also rallied 5.60 per cent at Rs 544.00 over its previous close of Rs 515.15. The intraday high and low of Surya Roshni Ltd were Rs 548.10 and Rs 513.00, respectively.
