Shares of Zee Entertainment, Ahluwalia Contracts and Future Supply Chain Solutions have rallied in today’s trading session. 

While markets opened above the previous close, as of noon, BSE Sensex was trading lower by 0.46 per cent.  

Zee Entertainment hits the roof, gains over 18 per cent 

Zee Entertainment Enterprises is mainly in the following businesses: Broadcasting of Satellite Television Channels, Space Selling agent for other satellite television channels, and Sale of Media Content. The share has rallied more than 18 per cent in the first half of today's trading session after Invesco drops EGM demand. Invesco, which along with OFI Global China Fund holds a 17.88 per cent stake in Zee Entertainment, however, said if the merger with Sony Pictures Networks India Pvt is not completed as currently proposed, it retains the right to requisition a fresh EGM. 

Shares of Adani Power, Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd and Nava Bharat Ventures have rallied in today’s trading session.  

While markets opened above the previous closing level, as of noon, BSE Sensex was down by 0.22 per cent.

Shares of Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Gulshan Polyols Ltd have rallied in today’s trading session. While markets opened below their previous close, as of noon, BSE Sensex was down by 0.41 per cent.

While markets opened with a red mark, as of noon, BSE Sensex was 0.33 per cent down, while the smallcap index was 0.74 per cent up.

The company has provided investors with a fantastic return of 159.3 per cent over the previous year, said today that its board of directors will meet on March 28 to examine and approve a bonus issuance of shares. During the meeting, the board will consider expanding the company's authorised share capital from Rs 8 crore to Rs 10.2 crore. Further, the board will also take the proposal for migration and listing of equity shares of the company from the BSE SME platform to main board of BSE and NSE. 

Shares of Greaves Cotton Ltd, Seamec Ltd and Jindal Saw Ltd have rallied in today’s trading session.   

While markets opened up with huge positivity, as of noon, BSE Sensex was up by 1.85 per cent.

Seamec Ltd gained more than 14 per cent 

Seamec Ltd owns and operates 4 multi-support vessels for the provision of diving services, manned and unmanned subsea operations and related activities. The share has rallied more than 14 per cent in the first half of today's trading session as the company informed that the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held on Monday, March 28, 2022, inter-alia to consider and evaluate the draft scheme of arrangement in connection with the proposal of merger/demerger/reverse merger/restructuring arrangement between the company and HAL Offshore Limited (HAL). 

The transaction is expected to add 3 per cent revenue in FY23.
 
Over the last one year, the company has returned 145.19 per cent to investors. The company's share price was Rs 1,826.55 on March 17, 2021, and it has boosted investor wealth by more than 2 times since then.

Shares of JK Cement, Rane Brake Lining and HG Infra Engineering Ltd have rallied in today’s trading session.  

While markets opened high, as of noon, BSE Sensex was up by 1.59 per cent. 

HG Infra Engineering Ltd gained more than 10 per cent

The share has rallied more than 10 per cent in the first half of today's trading session. The company has given investors stellar returns of 108.77 per cent over the last year. The share price of the company stood at Rs 283.2 on March 16, 2021, and since then, it has increased investor wealth by more than 2 times.

While markets opened flat, as of noon, BSE Sensex is down by 0.57 per cent.  

Heranba Industries Ltd jumps more than 13 per cent 

Heranba Industries Ltd is engaged in the manufacturing of a diverse range of agrochemicals such as insecticides, herbicides, fungicides and public health products for pest control. The share has rallied more than 13 per cent in the first half of today's trading session as the company's officials met Prudent Value Partners, Quantum Advisors, TCG Advisory Services, Rockstud Capital LLP, AV Fincorp, Moneybee Investment Advisors, Kitara Capital, Arihant Capital Markets, Omkara Capital, Oculus Capital Advisors LLP, Lucky Investment Managers, Vasuki India Fund, and JPM Capital.
 

The shares of Ganesh Benzoplast, RattanIndia Enterprises, and SREI Infrastructure Finance have rallied in today’s trading session.   

While markets opened marginally high, as of noon, BSE Sensex was up by 0.9 per cent whereas S&P BSE SmallCap was 0.00077 per cent down. 

The stock market witnessed a lot of instability due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
