Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.57 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.45 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading mixed on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.20 per cent at 74,602 and the Nifty-50 down 0.03 per cent at 22,548. About 1,668 shares have advanced, 2,263 shares have declined and 131 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.57 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.45 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Gland Pharma Ltd, Max Healthcare Institute Ltd and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Thangamayil Jewellery Ltd, Mufin Green Finance Ltd and Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Metals Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 25, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 3.96 lakh crore or USD 4.56 trillion. On the same day, 49 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 234 stocks touched a 52-week low.
