At 01:15 pm, BSE Sensex was trading flat, down around 104 points or 0.16 per cent at a level of 59,397.18 and NSE Nifty-50 also was trading flat, down around 21 points or 0.13 per cent at 17,628.35.
Broader indices outperformed main indices with a significant margin despite weakness in main indices. BSE Mid-Cap Index surged 1.15 per cent and BSE Small-Cap Index surged 1.70 per cent.
Because of Hindenburg Research reports, Adani Group's stocks have been affected for the past 4 days. While the broad selloff continues, Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Total Gas Ltd, Adani Power and Adani Wilmar Ltd are down and have touched back-to-back lower circuits. Adani Enterprises Ltd, Adani Transmission and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd all increased in value today.
