In preparation for the upcoming Maha Kumbh Mela, SpiceJet, a major Indian low-cost airline, has announced the addition of special flights to Prayagraj. The airline will introduce new direct flights from Guwahati, Chennai, and Hyderabad to cater to the surge in demand during this significant religious event.
To accommodate the large number of pilgrims expected to attend the Maha Kumbh, SpiceJet will also be increasing the frequency of its existing daily services from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, and Bengaluru. These additional flights will provide more convenient travel options for devotees travelling to Prayagraj from these key cities. The special flights from Chennai and Hyderabad will operate from February 1 to February 27, 2025, while services from Guwahati will run from February 11 to February 28, 2025. SpiceJet has ensured that all flights are conveniently timed to provide pilgrims with the best possible travel experience.
