In Tuesday's trading session, the benchmark indices wrapped up the day on a positive note, showcasing the Sensex's commendable 0.63 per cent climb to reach an all-time high at 69,381.31. In tandem, the Nifty secured a robust 0.81 per cent gain, achieving its record peak at 20,864.05.

The broader indices echoed this positivity, with Nifty Midcap posting a 0.47 per cent rise and Nifty Smallcap edging 0.11 per cent higher.

Market volatility, reflected by the India VIX, experienced a noteworthy surge of 4.93 per cent, signaling an increase in market dynamics.

Leading the charge among gainers were Nifty Energy, Nifty Metal, and Nifty PSU Bank, while the underperforming sectors included Nifty Media, Nifty IT, and Nifty Realty.

Delving into individual stocks, the spotlight shone on Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, and Power Grid as Top Gainers, while LTIMindtree, HCL Technologies, and Divi’s Laboratories faced downturns in the Nifty 50.

Zooming out for a broader market perspective, approximately 934 stocks advanced against 1112 stocks in decline, portraying an overall positive sentiment prevailing in the market.

Orient Green Power Company - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 24.40 per share on NSE.
