Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on June 8

Sensex trades with minor gains of 149 points at 55,256 at 10.55 am.

Except for the FMCG sectors, all other sectors are trading in the green today. Following the completion of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting today, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) hiked the policy repo rate by 50 basis points to 4.90 per cent.  

 

Besides, the shares of Indrayani Biotech have reached an all-time at Rs 41.20 today. Also, the stock of Nureca Ltd climbed 6.9 per cent and trades at Rs 1,148. NTPC share witnessed good price volume breakout and is up by 1.05 per cent at Rs 158.90.  

  

Sensex trades with minor gains of 149 points at 55,256 at 10.55 am. Similarly, BSE Midcap index increased 96 points and trades at 22,660 levels. BSE Smallcap index also trades in green and is up by 95 points at 26,160 levels. The Top Gainers on Sensex are State Bank of India, Bajaj Finserv, NTPC, Tata Steel, and Bajaj Finance. The Top Losers on the index include Nestle India, Reliance Industries, Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, and Hindustan Unilever.  

  

Likewise, Nifty 50 index moved into the green territory after opening in the red, jumping 48 points and trading at 16,464 levels. Bank Nifty also zoomed 329 points at a level of 35,325. The top gainers on Nifty 50 are ONGC, Coal India, Bajaj Finserv, State Bank of India, and Grasim Industries. On the other hand, the top losers are Britannia, Reliance Industries, Asian Paints, UPL, and Nestle India.  

     

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 2,293.98 crore on June 07 while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 1,311.14 crore.
