Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on June 24

Sensex is seeing a good recovery on the last trading session of the week.

Due to widespread purchasing and encouraging global cues, the Indian markets are currently trading in the green. On the sectoral front, all indices were trading on a positive note. The domestic shares rose as US-based IT majors signalled persistently strong demand for IT.  

  

The shares of Hero MotoCorp witnessed a 3.06 per cent increase. With effect from July 1, 2022, the two-wheeler industry leader will increase the ex-showroom prices of its motorbikes and scooters. Today, Nifty Auto index inched higher by 1.42 per cent. In just two trading sessions, the index increased 5.88 per cent. Mahindra & Mahindra climbed 2.86 per cent, TVS Motor Company surged 3.12 per cent, Hero MotoCorp soared 3.12 per cent, Tube Investments of India jumped 4.1 per cent, and Sona BLW Precision Forgings advanced 3.21 per cent.  

  

Sensex is seeing a good recovery on the last trading session of the week. The index has gained 360 points and is trading at 52,625 at 11.30 am. Likewise, BSE Midcap index has jumped 220 points and trades at 21,695 levels. BSE Smallcap index too climbed 303 points and trades at 24,420 levels. In terms of sectoral indices, the auto, FMCG, bank, telecom, and metal outperformed by strengthening more than a per cent each. Out of all the sectors, only teck sector slipped 15 points.  

  

Similarly, Nifty 50 index soared 135 points and trades at 15,691 levels. Bank Nifty climbed 479 points and trades at a level of 33,614. The Top Gainers</span></a></strong> are Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, Induslnd Bank, and Hindustan Unilever. On the other hand, the <strong><a href=" https:="" market-statistics="" markets="" top-losers="" www.dsij.in="">Top Losers include Apollo Hospitals, Asian Paints, Infosys, NTPC, and Tech Mahindra.  

              

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 2,319.61 crore on June 23 while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 2,438.31 crore.
