Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on June 2

S&P BSE Sensex traded with minor gains of 78 points at 55,459 at 10.25 am.

The domestic benchmark indices opened in the green territory and traded with moderate gains. Except for Nifty IT, metal, oil & gas, media, realty, and PSU banks, all other sectors are trading in negative. The share of Raymond Ltd soared 7 per cent today morning. The stock witnessed a price volume breakout, gaining with heavy volumes in trading. Also, the shares of Sirca Paints and J Kumar Infraprojects leaped more than 5 per cent during today’s morning session.  

  

S&P BSE Sensex traded with minor gains of 78 points at 55,459 at 10.25 am. S&P BSE Midcap index, on the other hand, fell 78 points to the 23,041 level. S&P BSE Smallcap trades in green, up by 81 points at 26,615 levels. Sensex only Top Gainers include Reliance Industries, TCS, Bajaj Finserv, Titan, and Axis Bank. The Top Losers on BSE today are Hindustan Unilever, HDFC, Power Grid Corporation of India, Bharti Airtel, and ITC.  

  

Nifty 50 index fell merely by 2 points and is trading at 16,519 levels. Bank Nifty also dropped 113 points at a level of 35,507. The top gainers on Nifty 50 are Reliance Industries, TCS, Coal India, Axis Bank, and Bajaj Finserv. On the contrary, the top losing stocks are Apollo Hospitals, Hero MotoCorp, HDFC Life Insurance, SBI Life Insurance, and Hindustan Unilever.  

     

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 1,930.16 crore on June 1 while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 984.11 crore.
