Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on June 15

In early trade, the domestic equity indices were spotted in red, trading with marginal losses.

In early trade, the domestic equity indices were spotted in red, trading with marginal losses. After falling for the last three days, auto stocks saw some value buying. Markets around the world remained volatile ahead of US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision. Fed is expected to raise the interest rate by 75 basis points, the most in 28 years.  

  

Sensex opened in red on Wednesday. At 11.08 am, it was seen trading 53 points down at the 52,636 level. BSE Midcap index, on the other hand, improved 104 points and trades at 21,945 levels. BSE Smallcap index has also gained 140 points and trades at 25,082 levels. The Top Gainers on Sensex are Bajaj Finserv, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, State Bank of India, and Maruti Suzuki. Meanwhile, the Top Losers on the index are Hindustan Unilever, HDFC, Nestle India, HDFC Bank, and Infosys.  

  

Likewise, Nifty 50 index has moved into the red territory, losing by merely 17 points at 15,714 levels. Bank Nifty, on the contrary, jumped 31 points to a level of 33,342. The top gainers on Nifty 50 are Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors, Grasim Industries, and Tata Steel. Besides, the top losers include BPCL, HDFC, ONGC, and Coal India.  

                                                                                                   

Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold shares worth Rs 4,502.25 crore on June 14 while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought shares worth Rs 3,807.60 crore.
