Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on June 14

The major market indices have recovered their early losses and are now trading with marginal gains.

The major market indices have recovered their early losses and are now trading with marginal gains. Retail inflation in India fell to 7.04 percent in May, according to official figures released on Monday. Thanks to government efforts aimed at lowering domestic fuel and food prices, India's consumer inflation (CPI) decreased to 7 per cent in May 2022. 

 

The Sensex has recovered from the morning losses and is trading higher by 193 points at 53,040 at 11.08 am. The Midcap index similarly improved by 204 points and trades at 22,081 levels. The Smallcap index has also gained 214 points and trades at 25,258 levels. The Top Gainers on Sensex are Power Grid Corporation of India, Wipro, Infosys, UltraTech Cement, NTPC, and Mahindra & Mahindra. While, the Top Losers on the index are Reliance Industries, HDFC, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, and Asian Paints

 

The Nifty 50 index likewise, has moved into the green territory scaling up by 63 points and trades at 15,383 levels. The Bank Nifty similarly jumped by 159 points and is trading at 33,565 levels. The top gainers on Nifty 50 are Apollo Hospitals, Adani Ports, UltraTech Cement, Bajaj Finance, and Grasim Industries. Whereas, the top losers are BPCL, Induslnd Bank, ONGC, Reliance Industries, and HDFC Life Insurance.
