The Indian indices closed on the upper side on Monday
The Indian indices closed on the upper side today. BSE Sensex crossed its psychological mark of 60,000 and closed at 60,395.63 levels, increasing by 651 points. BSE Midcap closed at 25,649.52, up by 176 points, also the BSE Smallcap closed similarly higher at 30,388.89 levels up by 356 points.
MCX Gold futures for February 4, 2022, settlement was trading flat at Rs 47,453. The dollar index was up today by 0.18 per cent. The FII net inflow was recorded at Rs 2939.88 crore.
Also, the Nifty 50 index crossed the 18,000 mark, shooting up by 190 points and closed on levels of 18,003.30. On the Nifty 50 index stock of UPL, Hero Moto Corp, Titan, State Bank Of India, and Maruti gained more than 2 per cent. Wipro, Divi’s Laboratory, Nestle India, Asian Paints, and Power Grid Corporation of India lost closed in negative today.
