Watch out for these penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on February 10!

The RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das heading a six-member Monetary Policy Committee MPC announced the resolution today. The RBI kept has decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 4 per cent. The reverse repo rate stands at 3.35 per cent. The real GDP growth is projected at 7.8 per cent for FY22-23. The FY23 inflation target is reduced to 4.5 per cent. The Nifty Bank and Financial Services continued the winning streak on Thursday and rose further after RBI maintained the status quo in line with the street’s expectations. The indexes gained around 1 per cent with financial stocks advancing 1.5 per cent and PSU Bank stocks were subdued in gains. Huge selling was seen by FII of Rs 892.64 crore and the DII of inflow of Rs 1793.35 crore was recorded.  

 

The BSE Sensex index had improved by 387 points and is trading at a level of 58,853.26. BSE MidCap has increased by 90 points and is trading at 24,721.25 points. The gaining stocks today in the index are Adani Power (14.32 per cent), JSW Energy (4.99 per cent), and Jindal Steel (4.46 per cent). BSE SmallCap also soared and is trading at 29,246.51 up by 13 points. The top gainers are Kriti Industries India (19.77 per cent), Vadilal Industries (9.64 per cent), and Themis Medicare (9.47 per cent). 

The Nifty 50 index has jumped and is trading at 17,574.85 levels up by 111 points. The major contributors are HDFC, ONGC, Kotak Bank, Tata Steel, and HDFC Bank contributing the majority of the gaining 1.8 per cent each. The Stocks of losing today are Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Maruti Suzuki India, HDFC Life Insurance, Asian Paints, and Indian oil Corporation falling by merely more than 0.42 per cent each.
