Watch out for these low-priced stocks tomorrow!

Sensex opened higher on Thursday but later slipped in the red territory amidst a volatile trading session to close at 59,934, with losses of 412 points i.e. 0.68 per cent.

Top Large-Cap gainers of the day comprise Maruti Suzuki, Eicher Motors, Adani Ports, NTPC and Grasim. Heavy buying was seen in power stocks.

 

The following low-priced stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, September 16, 2022:   

 

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) - A solid price volume breakout was witnessed in this counter in the first half of the trading session today. The stock froze at 20 per cent to record a fresh 52-week high of Rs 47.90 on NSE. The scrip currently trades at a PE of 32.43. It has gained 37 per cent over the last one month.  

TRIL is amongst the largest transformer manufacturers in India with an aggregate installed capacity of 33,200 MVA as of March 31, 2020. It has three units in Gujarat. The company is present in/caters to a wide range of transformers, which have applications in the power transmission & distribution sectors along with other industrial sectors.

 

Hindcon Chemicals - Hitting back-to-back upper circuits for the last two trading sessions in a row, the stock has witnessed heavy buying interest from market participants. The scrip recorded a fresh 52-week high of Rs 104.85 per share on NSE today. The stock has rallied more than 60 per cent over the last one month. The company is engaged in the manufacturing of construction chemical products. The entity is debt free.
