Viaan Industries signs deal for Quiz show
Viaan Industries Limited enters into a deal to launch a live online trivia game show for India audience. The company signed the agreement with Stream Live Inc USA.
The trivia game show iQ Live is similar in concept to the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati or its global version Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The show will be live twice a day at 1.30 pm and 9 pm. The host of the series introduces 12 multiple-choice questions, mainly general knowledge.
The game is free and the contestant needs to get all 12 answers right to win a share of a daily cash prize which runs in lakhs. The company plans to fund the prizes through tie-ups with advertisers and marketers. The show will be launched on March 12, 9 pm with actor Rohit Roy as host.
The company believes ad spends in the digital segment in India is around Rs. 8,000 crores a year, growing at 30% CAGR. Streaming live game show such as iQ Live provides an engaging platform for advertisers and are a rage internationally.
Meanwhile in-line with negative market sentiments, the stock of Viaan Industries was trading at Rs. 37.80 per share, down by 2.70 per cent at 11:27 hours on Monday.
